The Langen Packaging Groups Servo Train infeed system is a sophisticated servo controlled infeed which de-couples the cartoner from the upstream packaging equipment.  This provides a buffer for the packaging line and reduces effective handling rates resulting in improved overall line efficiency.

Operationally, products are collected into a “train” of pockets moving in an intermittent motion.  When all pockets are full, the “train” accelerates and synchronizes its speed and position with the continuously moving cartoner.  Products are automatically loaded into the carton while the next “train” is simultaneously loaded with product at the infeed.
